GREG MARZOLF, JR. -1979-2000
Our passion for finding a cure for
muscular dystrophy was created by a wonderful young man, Greg Marzolf,
Jr.
Although Greg Jr. suffered and eventually died from duchenne, one of
more than 40 neuromuscular diseases for which the Muscular Dystrophy
Association provides services, he was always one of the most positive
and selfless people we knew. He always had the opportunity to ask for
or accept things for himself, but he constantly found a way of focusing
on helping others rather than himself.
We know that if you speak with our volunteers and hear about how Greg
Jr. has affected their lives, you would gladly do what you could to
help us achieve our goal of raising more than $150,000 for MDA. If you
join us in some fashion, you will meet a lot of great people, have a
lot of fun and do a lot of good. To contact us about donating, volunteering
or sponsorships, please click on the 'contact us' button.
To pay tribute to the very mission and purpose of his young life, the
proceeds from the Stride and Ride, R.F. Moeller Jeweler - Pontiac Solstice
Convertible Raffle and the Garage Logic Dark Socks Classic golf tournament
will go to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
Below is a link to Greg Jr.'s creed which we believe will give you
an insight into the type of person he was and the vision he shared.
